Self-adhesive material is a material with a sticky back that is commonly used to make labels and stickers.
Depending on the material and adhesive, about 18 types of most common self-adhesives are on the market.

Self-adhesive materials are divided into two: paper and film materials.

Paper materials:

• 1. Offset paper, writing paper, self-adhesive labels

Multi-purpose label paper, used for information and barcode printing labels, is suitable for inkjet and laser printing and is often used for handwritten price labels in shopping malls, supermarkets, etc.

• 2. Coated paper self-adhesive labels

The paper's surface is smooth and delicate, and the printing colors are smooth. It is often used for customized packaging and printing products such as medicine, food, and wine.

Advantages: low cost, suitable for various printing products, suitable for various industries, and currently, many labels are used in the market.

Disadvantages: The label surface must be coated to be waterproof, oil-proof, and not easy to tear.

Processes available: lamination, color printing, hot stamping, silver hot stamping, etc.

• 3. Glass card self-adhesive label

High-gloss label paper for advanced multi-color products, commonly used for information labels such as medicines, wine, food, edible oils, and beverages.

• 4. Kraft paper self-adhesive labels

The kraft paper has color, a simple design, and texture, making the printed labels elegant. Commonly used in labels such as cultural items (retro and cultural)

Available processes: lamination, monochrome printing, UV printing, hot stamping, silver hot stamping, etc.

• 5. Aluminum foil self-adhesive labels

After pasting, it is not easily affected by environmental factors such as humidity and temperature, and the label will not deform for a long time. They are commonly used in high-end information labels such as medicines and foods.

• 6. Fragile paper self-adhesive labels

After peeling off the self-adhesive seal, the label paper is immediately broken and cannot be reused. It is often used for anti-counterfeiting labels such as electrical appliances, medicines, and food.

• 7. Textured paper self-adhesive labels

It has strong adhesion, is easy to remove, and has a simple and elegant texture. They are commonly used in product labels such as red wine, tea, cosmetics, etc.

• 8. Thermal paper self-adhesive labels

Use thermal printing technology to print patterns or text directly on labels, often used for labels in supermarkets, shopping malls, restaurants, logistics, transportation, warehousing, etc.

• 9. Thermal transfer paper self-adhesive labels

Printing information such as patterns and text onto labels through thermal transfer technology has many applications and can be used in various industries for identification, decoration, and information transmission.

• 10. Removable adhesive stickers

It is less tacky and can be easily removed without leaving a trace of glue. Suitable for labels on tableware, household appliances, fruits, etc.

Membrane materials:

1. PE self-adhesive label
PE self-adhesive labels have good water resistance, oil resistance, chemical resistance, and other properties. They are commonly used in food, medicine, cosmetics, chemicals, machinery, equipment, and other fields.

2. PP self-adhesive label
Self-adhesive labels made of polypropylene material have the characteristics of weather resistance, temperature resistance, and material stability. It is widely used in packaging, price tags, environmental protection, anti-counterfeiting, and other fields.

3. PET self-adhesive labels
Self-adhesive labels made of polyester material have the characteristics of high transparency, heat resistance, chemical resistance, etc. It is widely used in high-end packaging, electronic products, the automotive industry, anti-counterfeiting labels, and more.

4. PVC self-adhesive labels
Self-adhesive labels made of polyvinyl chloride material have the characteristics of weather resistance, chemical resistance, plasticity, and other characteristics. They are widely used in furniture, electrical appliances, electronic equipment, pharmaceutical packaging, and other fields.

5. PVC shrink film self-adhesive labels
A special type of label made by combining PVC shrink film with self-adhesive material, with unique shrinkage performance and bright appearance. Suitable for wide use in battery trademarks, beverage bottles, and other fields.

6. Laser film self-adhesive labels
A self-adhesive label made using laser technology. A layer of laser film is coated on the label's surface, and words, patterns, barcodes, etc., are left on the film through laser etching technology. It has unique gloss and visual effects that are difficult to counterfeit. It is widely used in anti-counterfeiting signs, commodity packaging, product labels, and other fields. The production process of laser film self-adhesive labels requires specialized equipment and technology, which has high production costs.
