What Is an NCR Paper Roll?

NCR, commonly known as carbonless copy paper, consists of multiple paper plies with pressure-sensitive coatings. The top ply is CB paper, the middle plies are CFB paper, and the bottom ply is CF paper. When pressure is applied to the top ply, the coatings transfer the image to the plies below, producing multiple copies without carbon sheets.
